Deutsch: Regelspur, die Strecke stammt von der Ferrcocarril central de Buenos Aires und ist seit 2012 außer Betrieb. Auf dieser Strecke mit dem primitiven Oberbau Hs ohne Unterlagsplatten verkehrten bis zur Schließung auch Schnellzüge. Die fehlenden Schwellen dürften zu Brennholz verarbeitet worden sein. An der Trassierung ist die Konkurrenzsituation erkennbar, von Rubén Dario bzw. Hurlingham bis Manzanares und Fátima laufen die Strecken der Línea San Martín mit Breit- und der Ferrocarril General Urquiza mit Regelspur teilweise nur wenige Meter entfernt parallel. Durch die fehlende zentrale Planung gibt es im argentinischen Eisenbahnnetz noch deutlich mehr ähnliche Situationen. Sollte es je zu einer Wiederinbetriebnahme der Ferrocarril Urquiza zwischen Zárate und Buenos Aires kommen, dann vermutlich in Form von Dreischienengleisen. |
