Deutsch: Personenzug Gmünd NÖ–Litschau, auf den Schmalspurstrecken im Waldviertel besteht nur noch touristischer Betrieb. Die Mh.1 wurde 1906 für die Niederösterreichischen Landesbahnen und deren Strecke St. Pölten–Mariazell gebaut. Der Vierkuppler hat die Achsfolge D2’ h2st mit Stütztender der Bauart Krauss, diese ermöglicht eine große Rostfläche hinter den Kuppelachsen ohne störenden Überhang und ohne Deichsel unter der Feuerbüchse. Die Lokomotive lief bei den ÖBB mit der Nummer 399.01. Auf den Schmalspurstrecken im Waldviertel wurde die Saugluftbremse beibehalten, ernsthafte Bemühungen zur Umstellung auf Druckluftbremsen wurden nie unternommen. |
