Deutsch: Fernbahneinheit, die Züge verkehren zwar zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt nur auf der Mitre-Strecke nach Rosario, doch die Werkstattanlagen liegen im Bahnhof Retiro San Martín. Die Lokomotive ist eine 8G mit Fahrmotorübersetzungen für 120 km/h, die ansonsten baugleichen 8H sind für 160 km/h zugelassen. Die blauen Wagen rechts sind S-Bahn-Einheiten der Línea San Martín. Die Wagen sind untereinander kurzgekuppelt, die Räume an den Zugenden enthalten die Dieselgenmeratoren für die Zugenergieversorgung. Die zentrale Energieversorgung durch die Lokomotive ist eine europäische Erfindung, die mit der frühzeitigen Elektrifizierung zusammenhängt und ansonsten auf der Welt kaum verbreitet ist. |
