Samochód papieski JP2 zaprojektowany i wykonany wiosną 1979 r. w Przemysłowym Instytucie Motoryzacji w Warszawie na pierwszą pielgrzymkę papieża Jana Pawła II do Polski. Po jej zakończeniu na polecenie władz samochód zniszczonao. W latach 2006-2011 na bazie odnalezionych , oryginalnych części samochód JP2 został odbudowany przez pracowników AUTO-ADAMCZAK w Kielcach, ze środków własnych, przy współpracy projektowej z Politechniką Świętokrzyską oraz konstruktorami Przemysłowego Instytutu Motoryzacji. W hołdzie Ojcu Świętemu Janowi Pawłowi II, w wyrazie uznania dla wszystkich, którzy przed laty stworzyli to niepowtarzalne w historii polskiej motoryzacji dzieło.
