User comments | châtelois (JN) / Neuenburger Jurabahn: 3/4-gekuppelte Tenderlokomotive Typ „Mogul“ (Ec ¾), erbaut 1886 von der Lokomotivfabrik Winterthur – Auf dem Foto trägt die ehemalige JN Nr. 146 „Neuchâtel“ (auch „Le Père Fritz“ [Vater Fritz] genannt) bereits die SBB-Nummer 6551, die sie nach der Verstaatlichung der JN im Jahr 1913 erhielt.
Die Neuenburger Jurabahn beschaffte 1889 bei der Schweizerischen Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik (SLM), Winterthur, als Ersatz für veraltete Engerth-Lokomotiven zunächst vier Tenderloks mit der Achsfolge 1'C („Mogul“) und den Nummern 146-149. Ihnen folgten 1897 drei gleiche Loks Nr. 150-152 und schließlich 1899 die Nr. 153. Die Loks trugen neben ihren Nummern 146-153 die Namen „Neuchâtel“, „Val de Ruz“, „Les Brenets“, „La Reuse“, „Cernier“, „Boudry“ und „La Chaux-de-Fonds“. 1913 wurden sie als Ec ¾ Nr. 6551-6558 von den Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen (SBB) übernommen und von diesen 1935 ausrangiert. „Mogul“-Loks waren bei den Schweier Bahnen seit 1875 verbreitet; mit insgesamt 307 Stück wurde der 3/4-gekuppelte Dampfloktyp zum meist gebauten der Schweiz. Die Tendermaschinen der Jura-Neuchâtelois waren Vorbild für einen von der SLM entwickelten „Mogul“-Normaltyp für kleinere Normalspurbahnen. Unter anderem bezogen die Seetalbahn, die Bahn Saignelégier-Glovelier, die Bern-Neuenburg-Bahn, die Bern-Schwarzenburg-Bahn, die Sensetalbahn, die Langenthal-Huttwil-Bahn und die Solothurn-Münster-Bahn „Mogul“-Loks nach Neuenburger Vorbild.

Gewicht leer: 36,9 t Gewicht dienstbereit: 49,4 t Adhäsionsgewicht: 42,0 t Wasservorrat: 6,7 m³ Kohlevorrat: 2,0 t Länge über Puffer: 10'240 mm Höchstgeschwindigkeit: 65 km/h Jura-Neuchâtelois (JN): Die Gesellschaft Jura-Neuchâtelois (JN) entstand per 01.01886 durch Auslagerung der 38 Kilometer langen Bahnstrecke Neuchâtel – Le Locle-Col-des-Roches aus der Jura-Bern-Luzern-Bahn (JBL). Die Eisenbahn von Neuchâtel (deutsch: Neuenburg) durch den 3259 Meter langen Loges-Tunnel zwischen Les Hauts-Geneveys und Convers nach La Chaux-de-Fonds und Le Locle war in vier Etappen zwischen 1857 bis 1860 von der Jura Industriel (JI) gebaut worden. Die JI wurde 1875 Teil der Jura Bernois (JB), die wiederum per 1884 mit der Bern-Luzern-Bahn (BLB) zur Jura-Bern-Luzern-Bahn (JBL) fusionierte. Erst unter der JBL wurde die Bahn zur schweizerisch-französischen Grenze bei Le Locle-Col-des-Roches (damaliger Name «Brenets-Col-des-Roches») verlängert und mit der über Morteau führenden Bahnstrecke Besançon–Le Locle ans französische Eisenbahnnetz angeschlossen. => Weitere Bilder von Schweizer „Moguls“ in diesem Archiv. |
