1893 inventor of a process using water to print & copy photo negatives.

1887 Leo patented velox but fails to expand being out done by his associate & competition George Eastman Kodak with a better reliable invention of photo film than to his "velox"paper.

Leo baekeland in 1888 carried a "detective camera" with his accomplice (a Dr/Barrister of east end Whitechapel) to victim locations anticipated by the Drs/barristers wife (3rd identity that makes aka "jack the ripper" & accessory to the murders) - a militant suffregette/prostitute wife.

Leo carries - "The box with a strap" - in witness statements reports (it was actually a detective issue portable camera)

The trio organised & killed 5x women of Whitechapel & photographed each one.

He is 1 of 3 that make the name Jack the Ripper.

Leo photographed a tolken of the boy on kings bridge as he was building from maticulous planning his next horrific legend - The Alienist 1896 N,Y.

After becoming familiar with the croton aqueduct system, purchasing his snug rock mansion in Yonkers & attaining status & power in n.y attaining a seat on a naval committee for example, building laboratorys, and starting Napera chemicals co. He was too smart and powerful to face justice in the living life.
