Svenska: Jacob Burensköld (1655-1738). Porträtt graveradt af C. Bergqvist, möjligen efter
förebild af David v. Krafft eller någon af hans efterföljare; i alla händelser må påpekas, att någon sådan af Krafft utförd bild ej finnes omnämnd i A. Hahrs förträffliga studie öfver Krafft (utg. 1900). Förebilden till Bergqvists stick är utförd 1712, då Burensköld öfvertog guvernörsämbetet i Skåne, hvilket ämbete han lämnade redan 1716 d. v. s. ett helt år innan Krafft i nämnda provins gjorde ett längre uppehåll för att “afkonterfeja“ Karl XII och hans generaler. Däremot kan man möjligen gissa på Johan Starbus, som begaf sig till Skåne 1712 eller 1713 för att i Kristianstad porträttera Stanislaus Leszczynskis gemål och döttrar. |
