Description
English: The "Falls" area of the Ohio River between southern Indiana and northern Kentucky created a sanctuary for rare birds and other wildlife. Audubon recorded and painted many varieties in this location, including this rendering of the Bald Eagle with catfish. From the Audubon series "Birds of America" published between the years 1827-1838.
