Description

Com uma área de 17.000 m2, o Jardim da Música localiza-se no espaço envolvente ao edifício dos Paços do Concelho, antiga Quinta da Memória, em Odivelas. O jardim contempla árvores de espécies autóctones espalhadas ao longo de todo o espaço, áreas relvadas e plantas aromáticas. O espaço possui, também, um anfiteatro preparado para receber pequenos espetáculos.

O projeto, da autoria do arquiteto paisagista Jorge Cancela, pretende integrar elementos do jardim tradicional num contexto urbano, possibilitando uma passagem natural entre o pomar, a mata, o olival e o campo de ervas aromáticas. Durante o dia é possível ouvir música através das diversas colunas existentes no espaço.

Algumas espécies de árvores que pode observar no jardim são: a Oliveira, Carvalho, Cipreste Jacarandá, Folhado, Madressilva, Alecrim, Alfazemas, Roseira e Nenúfar. Zona de estacionamento ao redor: estacionamento nas ruas envolventes: Rua Guilherme Gomes Fernandes, Largo da Memória, Rua Fernão Lopes
