English: Salvadoran American poet and activist Javier Zamora talks to University of Texas at Austin students and community leaders at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History at UT on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. His educational seminar is part of The Summit on Race in America being held at the LBJ Presidential Library. Zamora, who is active in promoting the poetry of undocumented immigrants, uses poetry to explore how immigration and the U.S.-funded Salvadoran civil war (1980-1992) have impacted his family. At left is moderator Leonard Moore, UT vice president for diversity and community engagement.
