Deutsch: Jaxa von Köpenick auf der Flucht durch die Havel. Nach Mitteilung von Louis Schneider war das Bild für das Buch von August Kopisch: Die königlichen Schlösser und Gärten zu Potsdam. Von der Zeit ihrer Gründung bis zum Jahre 1852. Ernst & Korn, Berlin 1854, vorgesehen und illustriert dort den Abschnitt zur Schildhornlegende. (Quelle: Louis Schneider: Das Schildhorn-Denkmal in: Mittheilungen des Vereins für die Geschichte Potsdams 4 (IV. Theil). Herausgegeben von Louis Schneider, Gropius’sche Buch- und Kunsthandlung (A. Schildhorn ist eine Landzunge in der Havel im Landschaftsschutzgebiet Grunewald im gleichnamigen Berliner Ortsteil Grunewald des Bezirks Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
English: Drawing Jaxa von Köpenick auf der Flucht durch die Havel (german for: Jaxa von Köpenick on the run trough river Havel), commemorating to a legend of the slavic Fürst (prince, ruler) Jacza de Copnic (de:Jaxa von Köpenick). Schildhorn (german for: shieldhorn) is a headland in the river Havel, situated in the protected area Grunewald in the homonymous quarter Grunewald of Berlins borough Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Germany.
