Summary edit

Description The A.M. Jensen department store building in Walla Walla, WA. Built 1919-20, it was designed by the Seattle-based architectural firm Beezer Bros, who were known for their civic and commercial structures. Jensen's was acquired and renamed by Seattle department store The Bon Marche in the 1950s, and would later expand the store into the adjacent Liberty Theater building. The Bon was acquired and renamed by Macy's in 2006 who would close their Walla Walla store just short of the building's 100th birthday.
