Description
English: The Jersey Hotel at 163 S Washington St. Built about 1890, the original owners are unknown but it's possibly one of the several Kline & Rosenberg buildings. The building to the right, built in 1889 by Cole & Nordium and designed by Towle & Wilcox, was part of the Standard Theatre property. All reduced to a single story after the 1949 earthquake, the entire row of buildings were demolished in 1963 for a parking lot.
