Description

Most of these are pretty straightforward; the last presumably refers to the tradition some Christian pilgrims have of visiting the places traditionally associated with the stations of the cross -- various events from Jesus's trial through crucifixion -- while carrying an actual cross. Since this is the first stop along the way, presumably a lot of folks don't think to get their crosses ahead of time...
