Description
Čeština: Jeseník, Josefa Hory 679/4a, bývalá vila Erwina Weisse. Secesní vila celoevropského významu postavená v letech 1901 – 1903 podle projektu Franze von Krausse a Josefa Tölka. Jsou na ní patrné vlivy anglické architektury, které se projevují především v asymetrickém rozvržení budovy včetně venkovních komínů a využití neomítnutého zdiva. Nápadný je kontrast mezi tmavošedými sokly, bílými plochami a tmavočervenými cihlami. Weissova vila byla po znárodnění vyklizena a využívána k bydlení, posléze jako školka. Roku 1994 získala objekt společnost Slezský kámen Jeseník a rekonstruovala jej podle projektu olomouckého ateliéru Studio OSA (Jan Polách a Petr Fabián).
