Description
Deutsch: Der „Jestädter Weinberg“ ist ein Zechsteinrücken am rechten Werraufer im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis, dessen sichtbare Dolomitfelsen landschaftsprägend sind. Bereits in 1924 wurden in einer ersten Schutzverordnung sämtliche Felspartien als Naturdenkmale ausgewiesen. Seit 1979 ist der Bereich ein Naturschutzgebiet und seit 2008 mit dem benachbarten Naturschutzgebiet „Werraaltarm und Werraaue bei Albungen“ als ein Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Gebiet Teil des europäisch vernetzten Schutzgebietssystems Natura 2000.
