Deutsch: Jesuitenkirche, Trier, Deutschland. Eingang der Friedrich-Spee-Gruft auf der Südseite der Kirche mit einer Eisengittertür (1981) von Klaus Apel (14. Februar 1927 - 27. Juli 2013). Sie greift Motive aus dem Werk Spees auf. In einem als Lebensbaum gestalteten Kreuz sitzt ein musizierender Flötenspieler. Über ihm erstrahlt die Sonne. Zwei Nachtigallen, Symbole der Poesie, schwingen sich auf in himmlische Höhen, während eine Schnecke die Tugend der Geduld versinnbildlicht. Der gegen eine turmbewehrte Festung anbellende Hund nimmt Bezug auf Spees "Cautio criminalis": "Es gebührt mir nicht, unter denen zu sein, die der Prophet [Jesaja 56,10] stumme Hunde heißt, die nicht zu bellen wissen."
