Français : Cette illustration semble représenter un jeune notable du peuple Vili, dont la taille est ceinte d’un pagne de raphia (n’lele ngombo). A l'intérieur du pagne est introduit une pipe. Sur sa poitrine, deux baudriers (simpat’kni), un en bandoulière pour porter une épée, et un autre sous le bras pour porter un charme (fétiche). Chaque bras est orné de bracelets de même nature (Tchitchia fukula). Sa tête est coiffée d’un couvre-chef en raphia réservé aux nobles (Mpu). Il tient à la main une sorte de sceptre.
