English: Jewels of the sea A close-up of one of the many rock pools near the jetty on Staffa. Quite a variety of flora & fauna can be seen here including limpets (pyramidal shells), sea anemones (red blobs with & without extended tentacles), sponge (orange patches), barnacles (tiny pyramids on rocks) plus various types of seaweed.
