Summary
English: Air views of Palestine by the Palestine Electric Corporation Establishment (P.E.C.), here Jisr as-Saghir railway and street bridge close to the Yarmuk Reservoir, supplying the water power for the Rutenberg Hydro-Electric Works at Jisr Majamieh (not in the picture) more downstream the Yarmuk and then Jordan. Parallel to the Yarmuk is the Jordan-Yarmuk-Canal (flowing reversed to the Yarmuk) diverting Jordan water to the Yarmuk reservoir; an artificial lake. The Yarmuk here leaving the reservoir flows away from it. |
