English: Mural monument to Sir John Davie, 3rd Baronet (1660-1692) of Creedy, Sandford. North wall of chancel, Sandford Church. Inscribed in Latin as follows:
Heraldry: Argent, a chevron sable between three mullets gules (Davie (de Way) arms) quartering Azure, three cinquefoils or on a chief of the second a lion passant gules (Davie (Bardolph) arms), all impaling Gules a bend between two owls agrent? apparently for de Owlacombe of Owlacombe in the parish of Roborough, whose heiress the Davie family had married several generations previously.
