Summary edit

Description
English: John Muir Way Sign near Preston Mill indicating the John Muir Way just where it crosses the River Tyne at East Linton. Eventually the long distance path will link Edinburgh and the Borders - currently there are two sections, one of 23 km from Musselburgh to Gullane, another of 28 km from East Linton to Dunglass, near Cockburnspath. John Muir was born in Dunbar and is often known as the 'father of the conservation movement', although he is less well known in Britain than in the US, where he was instrumental in the establishment of the first National Parks.
