| Description |
English: John Street, Omagh. Looking towards the town centre. The sliproad on the left leads to the short connecting length of road to the Homebase roundabout on the bypass. The Station Centre is on the left followed by the stone walled building which is the only remaining structure that was connected with the old railway station and is now the Modern Tyres Depot. Just past the sign for Lidl which is off-centre to the right is the old manual telephone exchange which is now McGurk's Bar. John McGales Triumph Herald garage and petrol pumps used to be located at the Lidl carpark on the right near to where the white van is parked but that was when four gallons petrol could be bought for a pound. |
