Español: Jordi Labanda, ilustrador de moda y publicidad, nació en Mercedes (Uruguay) aunque ha vivido en Barcelona desde que tenía tres años. Actualmente reside y trabaja en NY.

Es un artista reconocido mundialmente por su inconfundible estilo y por sus numerosas colaboraciones internacionales en publicaciones como Wallpaper, Vogue USA, Vogue Japón, Visionaire, The NY Times Sunday Magazine, Fanzine 137, Apartamento y El Magazine de La Vanguardia.

Sus clientes corporativos son, entre otros, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Grand Marnier, Alessi, Zara, Vodafone, Adidas, Pepsi Light, Dior, Neiman Marcus, Knoll Internacional, Target, Danone, Nissan España o American Express. Además, su trabajo ha sido exhibido en galerías y museos de Tokio, París, Milán, Buenos Aires y Barcelona. Su última exposición fue en febrero de 2011 en la Boutique Colette de París.

Los personajes surgidos de su pincel han sido, desde hace más de 10 años, utilizados para una gran variedad de líneas de stationary, vendidos con éxito internacionalmente. Recientemente ha lanzado, junto a Ana García-Siñeriz, una colección de libros infantiles publicada por Editorial Planeta “La banda de Zoe”

Parte del trabajo del artista ha sido recopilado en libros como el best-seller “Heyday”, “Si te he visto no me acuerdo” o la colección “Booklets”, todos ellos publicados por Editorial RM.
English: Jordi Labanda, fashion and advertising illustrator, was born in Mercedes (Uruguay). From the age of three he has lived in Barcelona, although nowadays he lives and works in New York.

He is an internationally recognized artist due to his exclusive style and his numerous collaborations with publications such as Wallpaper, Vogue USA, Vogue Nippon, Visionaire, The NY Times Sunday Magazine, Fanzine 137, Apartmento and El Magazine de La vanguardia.

Some of his corporative clients are, among others, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Grand Marnier, Alessi, Zara, Vodafone, Adidas, Pepsi Light, Dior, Neiman Marcus, Knoll Internacional, Target, Danone, Nissan España or American Express. In addition, his work has been exhibited in galle- ries and museums in Tokyo, Paris, Milan, Buenos Aires and Barcelona. His last exhibition was in February 2011 in the Boutique Colette of Paris.

Jordi’s iconographic silhouettes have been applied to girls’ stationary very successfully and sold inseveral countries for more than 10 years, becoming a “must have” item for thousands of teenagers. Recently he has launched, together with Ana García-Siñeriz, a collection of children’s books published by Editorial Planeta “La banda de Zoe”

Part of his work has been compiled in books such as the best-seller "Heyday", "Si te he visto no me acuerdo " or the collection "Booklets", all which are published by Editorial RM.
