Español: Inauguración en Cumaná de la piscina olímpica del Estado Sucre en Septiembre de 1971. En esta foto se encuentran el Presidente Rafael Caldera, la primera dama Alicia Pietri de Caldera y el Gobernador del estado Sucre Jorge Villegas.
Siendo la inauguración de esta obra uno de los proyectos llevados por Rafael Caldera, lo que dio origen a comienzos de diferentes competencias de natación a nivel Regional promoviendo este sano deporte entre la juventud sucrense y de los estados vecinos. Ese mismo día que se puso en servicio la piscina, las personalidades presentes procedieron a ver en acción a los jóvenes nadadores que compitieron en las distintas categorías |
