Español: Placa en el arca o alcubilla principal del antiguo acueducto de San Telmo, en la calle Refino, Málaga, España. La inscripción en latín dice: «Gobernando Carlos III rey de la Españas y de las Indias, permite y aprueba los gastos que, de sus rentas, con cristiana generosidad entrega el ilustrísimo don José Molina y Lario obispo de Málaga [...] Con esta gran obra, se trajeron las aguas de los montes vecinos, se construyeron molinos de agua para moler el trigo, de modo que el pueblo de Málaga, expuesto a perecer de sed y hambre pueda finalmente comer y beber abundantemente».[1] |
