Deutsch: "Laut umseitigen, alt beschrifteten Aufkleber, handelt es sich um Maria Adelaide von Savoyen (1685-1712), die Mutter des König Ludwig XV. Wiewohl stilgemäß keine physiologische Ähnlichkeit festgestellt werden kann, dürfte das kleine Gemälde im Zusammenhang der Verehrung des später vielgeliebten König Louis XV gesehen werden. Die Prinzessin auf einem Kissenlager mit aufgestütztem Arm und Blick dem Betrachter entgegengerichtet, unter einem Baldachintuch an kannelierter Säule. Links im Hintergrund Blick in einen Park mit Brunnen sowie weiteren geflügelten Amoretten. Die französisch-bourbonischen Farben Blau, Weiß und Rot werden im Bild in Kleidung und Lakentuch besonders hervorgehoben. (1240135) (11)" [1]
