Description
English: Astronaut Leroy Chiao (right), Expedition 10 commander and NASA International Space Station (ISS) science officer; cosmonaut Salizhan S. Sharipov (center), Russia’s Federal Space Agency Expedition 10 flight engineer and Soyuz commander; and Russian Space Forces cosmonaut Yuri Shargin (left) conducted a final inspection of their Soyuz TMA-5 spacecraft October 9, 2004, at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in preparation for their launch October 14 to the ISS. The Soyuz vehicle will be mated to its booster rocket October 11 in preparation for its rollout to the Central Asian launch pad October 12.
