English: Nate Ball of Atlas Devices prepares to test an APA-5 powered rope ascender with the Exploration Conop (EXCON) Suit, a new xEMU spacesuit simulator. Atlas uses this device in terrestrial applications of powered ascenders including rescue and vertical mobility. This photo was taken when NASA began researching if these capabilities may have analogous applications for lunar surface operations. Photo Date: April 29, 2021. Location: Building 49 High Bay.
