Description
Español: El Jardín Hidalgo, un espacio de cultura y de gran historia, parte del Centro Histórico de Coyoacán, segunda plaza más visitada de la Ciudad de México, sólo después del Zócalo Capitalino.

Al jardín Hidalgo le rodea la Casa Municipal -popularmente conocida como la Casa de Cortés-, la parroquia y ex convento de San Juan Bautista, el monumento a Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, el asta bandera y el kiosco de Coyoacán. Además, en el costado norte del Jardín Hidalgo, se encuentra un retoño del famoso “Árbol del Tule” de Oaxaca. Cilindreros, globeros, danzantes y boleros son parte del contexto de esta plaza, la que fue remodelada recientemente permitiéndole al turista recorrer sus pasillos disfrutando de un ambiente bohemio y romántico.

En el Jardín Hidalgo es donde se realizan los eventos más importantes de la delegación Coyoacán como la celebración del día de muertos, la tradicional feria del tamal, el grito de Independencia, grandes conciertos, entre otros.
