Summary edit

Description
English: Junction of the ways The Oxfordshire Way is a regional long distance path from Bourton on the Water (just in Gloucestershire) to Henley on Thames, thus linking the Cotswolds with the Chilterns. It also forms a useful link between two national trails, the Cotswolds Way and the Ridgeway. Here it crosses the Ridgeway, on its journey from near Avebury in Wiltshire to Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire. The route here is a Restricted Byway (vehicles allowed but not motorised vehicles) following the Icknield Way, estimated to be 5,000 years old and probably one of the oldest trackways in the country.
