English: Junction on the A38. The turn for southern Thurloxton, in a dip where the main road crosses the brook that passes close to the village and through Tuckerton and St Michael Church. The road on the left and that ahead follow the line of the old Thurloxton to Bridgwater turnpike, created in 1730. A layby (shown in 1218086) behind Bullenshay Lodge, on the right, was on the course of this road. |
