Hier ruht im Herrn P. Wenzel KARL, Dechant in Königswalde, geb. in Saaz am 8. April 1802, gest. am 10. Juni 1870.

Ruhe edler Priester
von der schweren Bürde,
von dem frommen Eifer
treuer Hirtenpflicht.
Deines gottgeweihten
Standes Ruhm und Zierde,
Deiner Pfarrgemeinde
Mögen Sie, die Stille hier
an Deinem Grabe weinen
Jenseits dort mit Dir zur ewgen
Freude sich vereinen.
Die dankbare Gemeinde dem treuen Hirten.

Šlechetný náš knězi, spi svůj klidný spánek,
odpočiň od tíže služby pastýřské.
Všechny kněžské ctnosti našly v tobě stánek,
láskou vzníceným byls světlem obci své.
Kéž ti, kteří v slzách tiše nad tvým hrobem stojí,
k věčné radosti se v nebi opět s tebou spojí.
Vděčná obec svému pastýři.
