Deutsch: Ausgrabungen der Kantonsarchäologie Aargau

Objekt: Zuleitung der toten römischen Wasserleitung von Vindonissa

Ort: Hausen, Meierschulhaus

Datierung: 1. Jh. n. Chr.

Aufnahmedatum: Juni 1971

Anlass der Grabung: Neubau des Schulhauses in Hausen; die Leitung wurde in der ausgebaggerten Baugrube bereits weitgehend durch Baumaschinen zerstört vorgefunden; ihre Reste waren nur noch an den Baugrubenwänden erhalten.

Details:

Detailansicht von Nordwest auf die südöstliche Baugrubenwand mit dem geputzten Profil und der rechtwinklig zu ihrem Verlauf geschnittenen Zuleitung der toten römischen Wasserleitung. Deckplatten, Seitenwangen und Unterbau weitgehend erhalten, Kanalquerschnitt vollständig mit Schwemmlehm zugesetzt, Viertelrundstäbe erkennbar.
