Realitäten, zu denen jeder in ein Verhältnis treten muß, der politische Verantwortung bejaht. ... Macht erschien uns etwas, womit wir uns abfinden mußten. Ordnung war uns vertraut ... Aber keine Ordnung ist mit der Gerech- tigkeit gleichzusetzen. Nichts hat dem Geist mehr die Türen geöffnet als die Verkündigung des Evan- geliums von der Freiheit eines Christenmenschen. ... Die Münchener Tagung hat geholfen, in dem neuen Abschnitt deutscher Politik, der mit Ludwig Erhard begonnen hat, die evangelische Verantwortung in Politik und Gesellschaft recht wahrzunehmen.
