Description
English: ) A Lockheed Martin KC-130J Hercules (BuNo 166514) from the Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 (MWSS-172) "Firebirds" takes off from Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Philippines on 15 November 2013 to airlift civilians to a safer location. The George Washington Carrier Strike Group supported the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade to assist the Philippine government in Operation Damayan in response to the aftermath of the super typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda in the Republic of the Philippines.
