Description
English: Afghan National Police students learn basic computer skills at the Parwan Republic of Korea Provincial Reconstruction Team’s ANP Training Center Jan. 27. The Parwan ROK PRT works to extend the reach and enhance the legitimacy of the Afghan government throughout the province, focusing on empowering Parwan government officials in functional areas such as Rule of Law, building sustainable infrastructure and providing professional skills to the local Afghan population used to generate independent household incomes. NTM-A is a coalition of 37 troop-contributing nations charged with assisting the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in generating a capable and sustainable Afghan National Security Force ready to take lead of their country's security by 2014.
