Description
Nederlands: Hal nabij de afdeling Romaanse en Maaslandse kunst in het Koninklijk Museum van Kunst en Geschiedenis in Brussel, inventarisnr. Gips nr 4. Op de voorgrond een gipsmodel van de Noodkist, het 12e-eeuwse reliekschrijn van Sint-Servaas in Maastricht. Het gipsafgietsel werd in augustus 1879 besteld bij de firma Cuypers & Stoltzenberg in Roermond, als onderdeel van een internationaal uitwisselingsprogramma tussen musea. Het Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam bezat eveneens een kopie van de Noodkist (vernietigd). De vier originele pendanten van de Noodkist bevinden zich sinds 1861 in de museumcollectie in Brussel.
