| Description |
Soviet WW2 era Heavy Tank Prototype Obiekt 238 (Object 238) was a prototype heavy tank also designated as the KV-85G. It was a KV-1S Heavy Tank fitted with a 85mm S-31 cannon, mounted using the original KV-1S turret and mantlet. It was unsuccessful in competition against the KV-85, which used a later and larger turret, and did not go into production. A remarkable survivor, it is reported to be in running condition and is now on display in Hall 10 of the Patriot Museum Complex. Park Patriot, Kubinka, Moscow Oblast, Russia. 25th August 2017 |
