Description
Deutsch: Fahne des Kadettenkorps, das Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (1746–1827) an seinem Erziehungsinstitut im waadtländischen Yverdon (1804–1825) errichtete. Die Farben Weiss und Grün sind jene des Kantons Waadt. Emblem im zentrale Medaillon ist auf der Vorderseite eine Eiche, auf der hier abgebildeten Rückseite Winkelried. (Ein Arnold Winkelried soll dem Vaterland 1386 in der Schlacht bei Sempach das Leben geopfert haben, indem er den Feinden die Lanzen entriss.) Im oberen grünen Feld stehen die Worte "Institut" (vorne) und "Pestalozzi" (hinten). Der Wahlspruch im unteren Feld lautet auf der Vorderseite "Spes in robore" (Hoffnung in der Stärke), auf der Rückseite "In amore virtus" (In der Liebe Mannhaftigkeit). Musée d’Yverdon et région.
