Description
English: Also known as the Ali Mescidi. Archival documents of the building state that the ruler of Dulkadir Principality Alaüddevle Bey (1480-1515) had it built by Ekmekçibaşı Hacı Ali Ağa. According to this information, it is understood that the mosque was built between the years of the reign of Alaüddevle Bey (1480-1515). Since the mosque is located at the intersection of two streams (Kanlıdere and Akdere), it is known as "Boğazkesen Mosque" among the people as it is today. It is easy to mistake the minaret of this mosque for that of the Ulu Camii, but the upper ridge is slightly different.
