Description
Svenska: Kalmar.Domprostgården.Domprostgården är belägen vid Lilla Torget. Byggnaden uppfördes 1656-67 som bostad åt stadspresidenten Christopher Larsson Grubb. Huset fick sannolikt sitt nuvarande utseende efter stadsbranden 1679. Efter ytterligare en brand 1765 tillkom gårdens övriga bebyggelse. 1791 inköptes gården till prästgård med biskoparna M.G. Wallenstråle och Magnus Stagnelius som de första innehavarna. Skalden Erik Johan Stagnelius bodde i huset under ungdomsåren i början av 1800- talet . Senare har gården bebotts av stiftets domprostar och stadens kyrkoherdar.
