Description
English: In bhareva, ghadawa, jhara communities of Madhya Pradesh nd Chattisgarh states of India a new bride of the family is presented with a bangle, which is adorned with standing crops, trees, wells and other symbols related to fertility and life cycle. The new bride prepares the seeds for sowing wearing the bangle in the hand. This ceremonial bangle has been recreated here in a much larger dimension using iron and brass, to facilitate a better appreciation of its form and the concept behind it
