English: "Enzenbarn (Schlafender Ritter)". High rock formation of massive limestone, Late Jurassic, where river Fehla flows into the Lauchert, Swabian Alb.
The nude rock top of exposed limestone is a kind of limestone pavement.
Background: meandering Lauchert and village "Hermentingen", a community of Veringenstadt.
Deutsch: "Enzenbarn (Schlafender Ritter)". Felsgruppe aus Massenkalken des Weißen Jura an der Mündung der Fehla in die Lauchert.
Regen- und Schmelzwasser haben langfristig durch Kalklösungsprozesse hier bizarre Schratten entstehen lassen.
Im Hintergrund: Hermentingen und die mäandernde Lauchert.
