Summary edit

Description
English: The glorious art of Kasbahs in Morocco dates back to the medieval ages and colonial ages. Many of these antique Kasbahs have been built for a purpose. Some of them served as grain stores, military defense castles for kings or a habitats for local villagers and their pets. After the independence of Moroccan Kingdom, hundreds of Kasbahs were deserted while others have been transformed into schools, aubergines, or international tourist sites. An axample of this is Kasbat Sidi Bouzakri Rissani which still hosts over 20 families and their sheep and many other popular UNESCO's world heritage sites similar to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah in Ourzazate .
