Description
Deutsch: Mit dem „Kata-Spezial“ organisierte die Karateabteilung des TSV Tauberbischofsheim 2013 und 2016 die weltgrößte Karateveranstaltung in Tauberbischofsheim, bei der jeweils über 1000 Karateka, die Karate-Nationalmannschaft sowie hochrangige Karatemeister aus der ganzen Welt in Aktion waren. 2016 kam es dabei zu einem Weltrekordversuch: In den vier größten Hallen in Tauberbischofsheim, die Halle am Wört, die Grünewaldhalle, die Festhalle und die Fechterhalle sowie auf dem Wörthplatz fand der größte Karatelehrgang der Welt statt. Dabei wurde das Training dokumentiert und beim Guinness-Buch der Rekorde eingereicht.
