English: Katagogion (hostel) at Epidaurus, 160 rooms, 5 822 m2, late 4th century BC.
The Katagogion provided accomodation to the numerous visitors of the Sanctuary, pilgrims, patients and their comapanions. The buildign has no communication between the two eastern and the two western units, so that it was possible to isolate parts of the building when the Sanctuary was less busy or for medical reasons (contagious diseases).

Katagogion poskytoval ubytování četným návštěvníkům svatyně, poutníkům, pacientům a jejich doprovodu. Stavba nemá žádnou komunikaci mezi dvěma východními a dvěma západními částmi, takže budovy bylo možné izolovat části když byla svatyně méně rušná nebo ze zdravotních důvodů (nakažlivé nemoci). |
