Deutsch: Eine der zahlreichen, 1490 entstandenen Wandmalereien d er katholischen de:Liebfrauenkirche (Oberwesel) ist die älteste Abbildung des heutigen Deutschen Ecks. Dargestellt sind vor dem Hintergrund der Moselmündung, drei in Koblenz besonders verehrte Heilige. Es sind von links: St. Florin, St. Katharina und St. Castor. (Durch die auf einer gewinkelten Pfeilerfläche aufgebrachte Malerei entsteht in der Fotografie leider ein unrealistischer Hintergrund.) |
