Description

Overall advertising Konstal 105N tram in Katowice. Społem = Powszechna Spółdzielnia Spożywców "Społem" was a Co-operative trading company which was responsible for cafes, restaurants department stores etc. The Katowice branch has been renovated and may be seen here today as the Galeria Skarbek Well over 100 branches are found today throughout Poland, still using the former situation logo. An extensive ten page history of the Co-operative movement in Poland, founded in 1869, may be seen here.
