Description

Original bildetekst: Vi stekte vafler, dekket bord ute, kokkene som bor i teltene her, kokte kakao, ellers hadde vi en pakke kjeks, og en plate melkesjokolade til hver.

Gjestene kom og man gikk til bords, barn i alle aldre.

Fotografiet kommer fra et album gitt til Riksarkivet av sykepleier Marie Lysnes. Våren 1945 deltok hun i opprettelsen av et feltsykehus i Finnmark. Lysnes dokumenterte oppholdet i Finnmark gjennom tekst og bilder. Albumet er en del av privatarkivet etter Marie Lysnes.
